BREAK INTO WRITING

Break Into Writing – Summer Session is designed to help writers build skills and produce publishable content. There are two weekly summer sessions will be June 26 – 30 and July 17 – 21 from 9 am – 4 pm.

The program cost is $175 which covers a light breakfast, lunch and materials. The session is reserved for the first 15 participants to register. For a registration form and program details, email paperpushers@intheloopprogram.com

Session I:
Magazine/Newspaper Writing: June 26 – 30

In partnership with BELLE Teen Magazine, participants will learn basic magazine writing and photography skills, meet published authors, and create content for the upcoming fall issue.

Session II:
Creative Writing – Short Stories and Plays: July 17 – 21

Participants will learn the basic parts to a story and use a template to create short stories or plays. The top works will have a reading in early August.

All sessions are held at our offices, 1206 Queen St NW, Washington, DC 20002 (near Gallaudet University).
