PAPER PUSHERS

The ability to articulate oneself, whether it is through the spoken or written word, is perhaps one of life’s most difficult task. Some say great writers are born, others say they are taught. But, could it possibly be a combination of the two?

Paper Pushers is a program that encourages young people ages 13 – 18 to push the envelope of journalism. Our goal is to develop and cultivate creative thinkers, risk takers, and out the box thinkers who produce ideas that push you to think.

Selected participants get a chance to have articles featured in various publications along with our website. Paper Pushers gives participants an opportunity to build communication skills, create awareness about their school and/or programs, build portfolios, enhance literacy skills, and attend workshops related to journalism.
